Day 174
Still hanging out with Job….because God’s interaction with him is amazing. While he appears to be the ball in a spiritual ping pong match, and he is covered with boils, and his friends show up and give him…not so good counsel and then God reminds Job that there is only one God….and Job ain’t it….And here is Job’s response…
Job :1-5 - 2 “I know that you can do all things; no purpose of yours can be thwarted. 3 You asked, ‘Who is this that obscures my plans without knowledge?’ Surely I spoke of things I did not understand, things too wonderful for me to know. 4 “You said, ‘Listen now, and I will speak; I will question you, and you shall answer me.’ 5 My ears had heard of you but now my eyes have seen you.
Job gets the point …he isn’t God. But through hiscircumstances….through his misery…through his trials….God was trying to show Himself to Job…but Job couldn’t see.
And often we can’t either….because our circumstances are blocking our vision.
Be encouraged, no matter what you are going through, no matter how low you may Be…God is trying to get you to see…hang in there!
